This course is ideal for you, if you’re interested in a career in the beauty industry, allowing you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and career progression.
This is a technical level qualification designed to develop your practical beauty therapy skills.
On this course, you will learn:
- Health and safety practice in the salon
- Client care and consultation
- Body analysis
- Swedish massage therapy
- Facial electrotherapy treatments
- Body electrotherapy treatments
- Electrical science
- Mechanical massage
- Anatomy and physiology for the face and body
You will be assessed through practical assessments, exams and a portfolio of evidence.
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.

On completion of this course, you will be ready to confidently enter the beauty industry, with a wide range of opportunities available, from working in salons, spas, health suites, cruise ships, to even starting your own business. You will also be able to progress to higher education.
