At BDC, we believe students should have a real say in their time at college.
The Student Voice gives students the chance to share ideas, raise concerns and help shape college life. It also helps them build confidence and develop valuable life skills.
What is The Student Voice?
The Student Voice is part of a wider college programme called Our Voice Matters. It gives students the chance to get involved in decisions, share feedback and help create an inclusive and supportive environment.
What Students Can Get Involved In
- Monthly Meetings – Talk with staff and students about what’s working and what could be better
- Student Forums – Share ideas, feedback and questions
- Leadership Workshops – Build skills like teamwork, communication and public speaking
- Campaigns and Projects – Support causes that matter, like inclusion or sustainability
- Events and Socials – Help organise fun and welcoming student activities
Extra Student Benefits
