The safety and wellbeing of our students is a top priority at BDC.
We have a dedicated security team on-site whenever the college is open. All members of the team are trained in safeguarding procedures to help keep everyone safe.
ID and Site Access
All students and staff must wear visible ID passes while on campus. This helps us monitor who is on-site at all times. During induction, students are introduced to key safety and safeguarding information.
Safeguarding and Staff Training
All college staff hold valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificates and complete safeguarding training as part of their induction. This ensures they are fully prepared to support and protect young people.
Student Behaviour
We take student wellbeing seriously and have clear expectations around behaviour:

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on drug possession or use on college grounds
