Before he was wowing the nation with his soulful sound on The Voice UK, Emmanuel was developing his voice and his confidence right here at Barking & Dagenham College.
Studying Music Performance with us gave Emmanuel the space to experiment, grow and find his unique style. Quietly powerful, his vocals turned heads from the very beginning and it wasn’t long before they caught the attention of the country.
Mentored by Will.i.am on The Voice in 2015, Emmanuel made it all the way to the final, impressing millions with his raw talent, humble spirit and unforgettable performances.
He’s continued to build a career in music, staying true to who he is and inspiring others to follow their passion – no matter how big the dream.
