This course offers a range of core and optional units designed to provide a solid foundation in Engineering.
You will gain hands-on skills in operating machinery, alongside proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed technical drawings. You will also build problem-solving, project management and teamwork skills, whilst understanding health and safety practices and industry standards.
Through practical tasks, industry engagement and project-based learning, you will be well prepared for further education or entry-level roles in various engineering sectors.

You will be assessed through exams.
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.

On completion of this course, you will be able to progress into further study or university in fields like Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
You can also move into an Apprenticeship including roles like Engineering Technician or Design Engineer.
