This Level 2 Introduction to Beauty Therapy course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to begin a career in the beauty industry.

Whether you aspire to work in a salon, spa, or as a freelance beauty therapist, this course will set you on the right path.

In this course, you will cover the essential aspects of beauty therapy, including:

  • Health and safety in a beauty therapy setting
  • Client consultations
  • Client care and communication
  • Provide facial skin care
  • Provide manicure treatment
  • Provide pedicure treatment

You will be assessed through practical assessments, exams and a portfolio of evidence

You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 3 (D) or above.

As part of the application process you will also be asked to explain why you want to study this course, so that we can ensure any course offer made aligns to your career goals.

Our course includes numerous industry visits and masterclasses led by experienced professionals. These opportunities are designed to help you develop the essential skills needed for the beauty industry, guided by highly experienced beauticians.

Upon completion of this course, you can develop your skills further and prepare for employment on the Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
