This advanced VTCT Level 4 qualification is designed for therapists who are looking to expand their career to more expertise and advanced aesthetic treatments.
Throughout this course, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies.
You will gain the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin peeling treatments and skin peels. In parallel, you will develop your communication and customer service skills and widen your knowledge of the principles and practices of Level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly by employers.
You will use expert advanced industry kit devised by top industry expert, Beauty Lab. You will also attend a range of industry talks, including one by Dr. Medi Spa (as seen on ITV This Morning).
You will also have
opportunity to practice through completing WEX within provision of reduced
price of skin peels to clients in the onsite Salon at Rush Green Campus, once
you are competent to do so.
The primary purpose of this qualification is to
prepare you for employment in the advanced non-medical aesthetic industry
providing skin peeling and skin needling techniques.
On this course, you will learn the following units over a 12-week programme:
- Principles and practices of non medical therapies
- Advanced consultation for non medical aesthetic therapies
- Advanced skin care for non medical therapies
- Provide cosmetic skin peeling treatments
- Provide skin needling treatments
- Chemical agency proficiency
- Advanced skin analysis
- Aftercare and client education
You will be assessed through dated exams.
You will need to have a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and English and Maths GCSE Grades 4 or above.
On completion of this course, you will be able to move onto a level 5/7 Beauty Therapy course.
