You’ll develop the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the business sector, which will prepare you for further study or employment. Expand your career opportunities and unlock your full potential.
On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the second year and study towards the BTEC Extended Diploma in Business.
On this course, you can choose two units from a selection of options, that will supplement the mandatory units on this course:
• Marketing
• Business Environments
• International Business
• Management
• Finance
You will be assessed through coursework, assignments and exams.
You will need to have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, as well as GCSEs at Grade 2 or above, in two additional subjects.
On successful completion of this course, you could progress to the second year and study towards the BTEC Extended Diploma in Business, or to an Apprenticeship, or into employment.
If you go on to complete the second year of the course – the BTEC Extended Diploma in Business – you could then progress to higher education or a higher-level Apprenticeship.
