If you're looking to develop your team leading skills to manage a team effectively, this online course will help you do just that.

You'll learn how to use different styles of leadership to enhance your team's performance and how to motivate team members to get the best out of them. You'll also learn how to manage conflict, how to handle dissatisfied customers and how to be the best mentor possible.

This course is delivered entirely online and can be studied at a pace that suits you. You could complete in as little as 6 weeks dependent on the time you can commit.

On this course you'll study:

  • Principles of team leading
  • Understanding business
  • Understanding how to communicate work-related information
  • Understanding how to deliver customer service and resolve problems
  • Understanding how to develop working relationships with colleagues
  • Introduction to coaching
  • Introduction to mentoring
  • Understanding personal development

This Level 2 course is free if you:

  • currently live in England
  • are aged 19+
  • have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years
  • are not be on an apprenticeship

On successful completion of this course, you’ll have earned a NCFE CACHE Level 2 certificate which could also help you progress your career, or enter a new sector – whilst giving you the tools you need to lead teams.

There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
