Learn in our Salon and Hair Bar facilities, cut paying customers' hair and start work placements - there's no typical week on this course!
There's a mixture of practical assessments, online exams and assignments.
You will need to have GCSEs at Grade 3 or above in English and Maths, as well as in two other subjects.
The tutors on this course have outstanding knowledge and experience from working in the hair & beauty industry, as well as valuable industry links to help you gain an insight into the industry.
There are many opportunities for you to work in realistic industry environments, thanks to our commercial salons.
As well as doing work experience placements, you'll be styling for paying clients in our Salon and Hair Bar.
Successful completion of this course will provide you with the opportunity to progress on to a Level 3 Hairdressing course.
