This course has been designed to provide the ideal introduction to the Construction Trowel Trades industry.
You will learn the essential skills in bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, plastering, painting and decorating, construction operations, wall and floor tiling, electrical and plumbing.
On this course, you will learn all aspects of construction management and technology and skills in many different areas that will give you a real opportunity to progress onto a level 2 course or Apprenticeship.
You will be assessed through continual assessments, including portfolios and worksheets.
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 2 (E) or above.
As part of the application process you will also be asked to explain why you want to study this course, so that we can ensure any course offer made aligns to your career goals.
On successful completion of this course, you will have developed both practical and theoretical skills and will be able to progress onto a Level 2 course in Construction.
