This course is designed for young people aged 16-18, or up to 24. All learners must hold an EHCP who have Special Education Needs.
The focus is transition to adulthood including Independent Living and Employability Pathways with opportunities leading into paid or otherwise and links to the Preparing for Adulthood outcomes.
You may have special educational needs and disabilities such as behaviour emotional and social difficulties (BESD) Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mild learning difficulties (MLD) and moderate learning difficulties (MLD) attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and opposition defiant disorder (ODD).
This course is personalised and curriculum is moulded to support each learner to achieve their EHCP outcomes. The assessments are based on individual needs and ability. This combines employability, personal and social and learning skills to give learners an opportunity to develop the skills needed to progress to employment, independent living, further learning or a combination of these.

Your Individual Learning Plan will be designed to meet your needs and develop the skills that will help you make progress towards your future goals.
