This is a full-time 4-day-a-week personal development course, preparing you for adult status and all the skills and understanding that is required.

The vocational subjects have been selected for their practical application and the emphasis on teamwork, which is a crucial element of any job.

Learners will develop functional skills in English, Maths and ICT by participating in a range of activities including, creative projects and out of college social activities.

On this course, you will learn:

  • Access the community
  • Support at enrichment events
  • Understand basic money management
  • Attributes needed to explore for employment preparation

You will have unit-based assessments, to aid you in achieving the learning aims and qualifications.

You do not need any official qualifications for this course, however, you will need to demonstrate a passion for the subject and commitment to learning.

On completion of this course, you will be able to progress to an Entry 3 course.
