A unique opportunity for creative expression, allowing ideas to come to life in a dynamic and interactive way – exploring the latest technologies and techniques in our Games, Design & Animation courses.
The Level 2 Games Design and the Level 3 Games Art & Animation courses are focused on developing a hybrid range of creative and digital skills, to prepare you for a wide range of job roles within the creative and digital industries.
You will learn, develop and use creative techniques and digital skills related to Game Art, Games Design and Animation.
Study in the state-of-the-art East London Institute of Technology, with full use of industry-standard software and equipment such as the Adobe Creative apps and Blender, a Mac Suite, Cintiq drawing tablets, 3D printer and Motion Capture equipment.
Skills will be developed in ideas development, problem solving and creativity, character design, creating character model sheets, environment designs for games and animation, 3D modelling, creating concept pitches and a range of animation techniques, such as 2D digital, rotoscoping and stop motion.
There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
