Join Our Football Academy – Recruitment Now Open for 2025/26!

Our Football Academy offers you the chance to combine academic study with high-level football development.

Whilst training at our Academy, you'll work towards a nationally recognised qualification, alongside fantastic opportunities to grow as a footballer.

You can study towards a Level 2 (1 year) or a Level 3 (2 years) in Sport or another subject of your choice. The Level 3 qualification is equivalent to 3 A Levels, so you’ll finish ready for university or your chosen career path.

Your time at the Football Academy includes:

Training with professional, UEFA B & A Licence-qualified coaches
Competing in the National Youth Alliance League
Training three times a week and playing for one of our Academy teams on Wednesdays
Under-18s trials and development game opportunities
A chance to participate in our annual residential Seville FC (Spain) tour
The opportunity to apply for an American football scholarship
The chance to work towards coaching badges
Access to physiotherapists and nutritionists
Courses tailored to your academic level and career ambitions

How to apply

Complete an application to study for a course starting in September 2025. You can apply online or at one of our upcoming open events. This course could be in Sport or another subject area.

Once you have submitted an application to study a course with us, you’ll receive an email confirmation – in that email will be details of how to register for our next football academy trial.

Trials

You'll need to register to attend our next trial date. Once you've registered, we will be in touch with all the details about the trial, what you can expect from the day, what to bring, and the next steps to joining our Football Academy.

Our Football Academy is very popular. We hold regular trials throughout the year, but we encourage you to secure your place on a course and at our trials as soon as possible.
