Have you been working in the Hospitality industry and looking to take your career to the next level?

This Apprenticeship will enable you to learn how Hospitality Supervisors work across a wide variety of businesses including bars, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels or contract caterers.

You will learn how to provide vital support to management teams and the capabilities of independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts. Hospitality Supervisors typically work under pressure delivering fantastic customer service and motivating a team is essential to the role.

The majority of supervisors’ skills and knowledge are the same, but supervisors may specialise in specific functions or work across a variety of functions which reflect the multi-functional nature of the industry.

On this Apprenticeship, you will learn:

  • Management & Leadership

To achieve this Apprenticeship standard, you will be assessed through summative online test, practical observation, business project and professional discussion.

You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.

As part of the application process you will also be asked to explain why you want to study this course, so that we can ensure any course offer made aligns to your career goals.

On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will be able to progress into Higher Education – a Level 4 Apprenticeship qualification or to university, or you will also be able to progress your career in the following areas:

  • Front Office Supervisor Concierge Supervisor
  • Conference and Events Supervisor
