The course is a great option if you want to develop broader business skills to improve your job prospects. If you are interested in working in bookkeeping within a large company’s finance department, this course will give you the knowledge you need.

It’s also suitable for self-employed individuals who need to manage their own bookkeeping and for anyone considering a career change into finance or bookkeeping.

On this course, you will be building on the knowledge gained at Level 2. This course includes study units in:

  • Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements
  • Tax Processes for Business

You will be assessed through online assessments.

You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.

As part of the application process you will also be asked to explain why you want to study this course, so that we can ensure any course offer made aligns to your career goals.

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to progress to study AAT Level Diploma in Accounting Units or go into employment as a qualified Bookkeeper.
