You'll cover a range of subjects that enable you to support, manage and develop yourself and your teams. During the programme you'll learn to manage projects, make decisions, plan workloads and resources, deliver business plans and resolve problems.

During the programme you will cover modules including:

  • Organisational Performance - Delivering Results
  • Interpersonal Excellence - Managing people and developing relationships
  • Leading people
  • Managing People
  • Personal Effectiveness - Managing Self
  • Project Management
  • Operational Management
  • Decision Making

You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence, demonstrating evidence of learning and application of each of the 8 modules.

All apprenticeship standards include an end point assessment which is required to complete the standard, likely in the form of an Interview with the Chartered Management Institute.

You will need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week to be eligible for this Apprenticeship.

It is also expected that you are currently working, or have previously worked, in a supervisory role.

To join this apprenticeship programme, you will need one Grade 4 (c) in E&M and the other to be working at a minimum initial assessment of L2

On completion, apprentices may choose to register as Associate members with the Chartered Management Institute and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management, to support their professional career development and progression.
