The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management is a professional qualification, which focuses on the knowledge and behaviours required to create value and make an impact in the changing world of work.
On this course you will study the following units:
- Organisational performance and culture in practice
- Evidence-based practice
- Professional behaviours and valuing people
- Employment relationship management
- Talent management and workforce planning
- Reward for performance and contribution
- Specialist employment law
This qualification is undergraduate level and intended for those who seek to develop a career in HR management or who are working in the field of HR management and need to extend their knowledge and skills.
The course will run on two evenings per week, 6pm - 9pm.
A range of assessment methods will be used such as assignments, group work, timed assessments, role play, assignments and case studies.
In many of the assessments you will be required to use your own workplace as a case study.
You may have achieved the Level 3 qualification and be working towards a management role in HR. Alternatively, you may have a first degree, be an Associate Member of the CIPD and have had several years of experience in HR.
You will be asked to attend an interview and show proof of your qualifications and CIPD membership. A reference will be requested from your employee.
The CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management will provide a stepping stone for the CIPD Postgraduate Diploma.
