This course will help provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities that education and childcare practitioners have in safeguarding children and learners.

Perfect for those looking to continue their professional development (CPD), this course will provide a useful induction to safeguarding legislation, policy and procedure to support induction related activities

You will study the following units:

  • Understand safeguarding and protection in education and childcare settings
  • Understand the role of the education and childcare practitioner in safeguarding children and learners

You will need to have enthusiasm for a career working in a school environment.

On successful completion of this course, you can progress onto a Level 2 Childcare programme.
