In collaboration with local community pharmacies this apprenticeship programme is designed to give you skills and knowledge within the pharmaceutical field.
Pharmacy Technicians play a pivotal role in diverse healthcare settings, including registered pharmacies, community services, GP Practices, care homes, prisons, and hospitals. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for managing the supply of medicines and devices, offering advisory services, and undertaking routine and specialist tasks with a high level of professional judgment. This apprenticeship integrates a Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, aligning with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) guidelines.
Throughout the programme, apprentices will attend college one day a week for comprehensive lessons and receive visits from their tutor to their workplace.
All apprenticeship standards include an end point assessment which is required to complete the standard.
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.

Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, apprentices will be equipped to work in various pharmacy settings.
