This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to develop and enhance your skills as a hairdresser and build your confidence within the industry.

Within this course you will build and develop your skills as a hairdresser as well as learning advance cutting and colouring techniques. You will have opportunity to practice these skills in our established commercial Salon.

Throughout this course you will build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding as well as complete end of unit GOLA exams.

You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.

As part of the application process you will also be asked to explain why you want to study this course, so that we can ensure any course offer made aligns to your career goals.

You will need to have successfully completed a Level 2 Diploma, at Merit, in Hairdressing.

This course could lead to employment opportunities within the industry.

There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
