This course is great for students wanting to progress into the film industry and other related industries.
The breadth of optional content in this qualification allows learners to widen their opportunities to progress to several different higher education courses.
Core units include:
- Exploring and Developing Creative Media Skills: includes an exploration of the fundamentals of creative media practice from a film and tv perspective developing practicial skills. You also undertake a Film and TV project combining all your skills developed whilst taking this course.
- Advanced Creative Practice: includes Personal porgression which will help you to develop your understanding of industry, employment roles and higher education routes within the graphic design industry and creative pathways. You will also develop skills in creating a graphic design proposal for a response to an industry relevant brief.
You will complete practical assignments and develop your theory, skills and knowledge 100% internally assessed and through a portfolio of work.
Three days a week on campus working in a designated film studio and classrooms on site with some online learning.
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.
