This qualification is intended for students wanting to progress directly to employment in the esports industry and other related industries. Additionally, the breadth of optional content in this qualification allows you to widen your opportunities to progress to several different higher education courses.
You will complete practical assignments and develop your theory, skills and knowledge of Esports.
Core units include:
• Unit 1: Introduction to Esports
• Unit 2: Esports Skills, Strategies and Analysis
• Unit 3: Enterprise and Entrepreneurship in the Esports Industry
• Unit 4: Health, Wellbeing and Fitness for Esports Players
• Unit 5: Esports Events
Three days a week - combination of online and onsite lessons. When onsite, you will be working in the esports designated classrooms or the onsite Esports arena.
High spec PC's gaming chairs and full gaming setups are included.
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 4 (C) or above.
