This course will prepare you for further learning and training, whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting, how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child and young person development.
On this course, you will learn:
- Understand schools as organisations
- Understand how to keep children and young people healthy, safe and well
- Understand how to communicate with children, young people and adults
You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
You will need to have a Level 1 in Literacy.
On completion of this course, you will be able to progress onto the Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and Colleges or the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
