University partners

The University of Greenwich is a leading modern university based in south east London and Kent, founded in 1890 and becoming the University of Greenwich in 1992.

It is known for its high-quality teaching, research excellence and the diversity of its 20,000 students. It values inclusivity and collaboration and aims to make an impact with its research.

Its courses are designed in conjunction with business and industry and many of its academics have previous experience in these areas.

UEL is a diverse and original university committed to creating societal change.

Based in East London's Borough of Newham, its three campuses are located across Stratford and Docklands.

The university currently has an undergraduate and postgraduate community of over 17,000 students from all over the world.

Wrexham University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and professional courses across its three locations in north Wales.

Although the university only formally started in 2008, it has been delivering education at its main Wrexham campus since 1887, and first started offering degrees as early as 1924.

Wrexham University prides itself on its links with leading local and regional employers, such as Airbus, Kellogg’s, JCB and the BBC.

Awarding bodies

Canterbury Christ Church University is the awarding body for our Higher Education teaching qualifications.

Founded as a college for teacher training in 1962, it was granted university status in 2005.

Today it has more than 19,000 students and staff across its three sites in Canterbury, Medway and Tunbridge Wells.

The Chartered Management Institute aims to help managers to stop simply getting by… and to start excelling.

It developed the very first diploma in management studies over 60 years ago, and today over 100,000 managers use its services on a daily basis.

CMI qualifications range from introductory to senior-level, and are all highly valued by employers.

The Association of Accounting Technicians has over 140,000 members worldwide, and is the world’s leading professional body for accountancy.

The AAT prides itself on providing qualifications that meet the needs of both employers and employees, and awards more than 80% of all vocational qualifications in accounting.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development is a professional association for human resource management professionals.

For more than 100 years, the CIPD has been championing better work and working lives by setting professional standards for HR and people development.

It’s currently the career partner for 150,000 members around the world.

The Chartered Institute of Building is the world's largest professional body for construction management and leadership. It represents construction and property professionals who work in the built environment.

The CIOB develops educational standards and its courses and online content focus on practical skills, technical expertise and the right management attitude for the industry.
