Trips & travel

As well studying in our fantastic facilities and learning practical skills on work placements, you’ll have opportunities for programme-related trips and travel.

The chance to see professionals at work, explore behind the scenes and experience other cultures all makes for a broader education and a better preparation. By speaking to industry experts, being inspired by shows and exhibitions and spending time abroad you’ll be developing the interpersonal, collaborative and practical skills employers look for.

Shows & exhibitions

Students on Creative Arts pathways such as Graphic Design and Performing Arts will benefit from trips to see professional work. These visits are great for inspiration and for understanding how successful careers are built.

Photography students will have the chance to visit Paris and spend time at Studio Rouchon via our affiliation.

And those on Music courses will get the chance to visit the Wireless festival - including behind-the-scenes access to better understand the jobs of the engineers and stage crews!

The great outdoors

Students on our Public Services courses will be spending lots of time outdoors on outward-bound excursions and working on their fitness.

They’ll also spend a week in Wales on a residential trip run by former Army personnel.
