Whether it’s been a few (or many!) years since you studied maths at school, or you’re simply looking to refresh your numeracy skills, this short course enables you to get confident with using maths and numbers in everyday life.
Good numeracy skills could also unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages, or prepare you for further study.
Funded by the Government, as part of the Skills for Life, this course is part of the Multiply project.
On this course, you’ll learn some basic strategies including how to add, subtract, divide and multiply. You’ll understand ways to apply these skills in real life, so you’re confident to tackle any number-related scenarios head-on!
There are no exams. You’ll be informally assessed throughout the course to check your progress and understanding.
This course is FREE for adults aged 19+ who don’t already have GCSE Maths, or equivalent, at grade C or above.
By the end of this short course, you’ll have boosted your confidence using numbers and maths, and understand how to apply these skills in the real world! You’ll also have gained a qualification to add to your CV.
