This course will provide the underpinning knowledge and understanding of different careers and roles available within the warehousing, storage and logistics industries, and the function they serve.
The qualification can also be used to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level, or where more specific knowledge, skills and understanding is required.
On this course, you will learn:
- The different careers and different types of organisation in the warehousing industry
- The different job roles available within the warehousing industry
- The different functions of the warehousing industry
- The digital skills required to work effectively in the warehousing industry
You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
You will need to have English GCSE or Functional Skills at Grade C or above.
On completion of this course, you will be able to progress onto:
- Level 2 in Warehousing & Storage Principles
- Level 3 in Warehousing and Storage
- Level 2 in Land-Based Forklift Truck Operations
