This Level 2 Plasterer apprenticeship is to apply layers of plaster onto walls, floors and ceilings. Plastering serves a protective function; in that it makes buildings more robust and also an aesthetic function.

During the apprenticeships modules you will be marked on include

  • Health and Safety
  • Customer Service
  • Communication
  • Building types, including; eras, materials, insulation and fire protection
  • Materials both modern and traditional
  • Dry Lining
  • Mould work
  • Restoration

To achieve the apprenticeship standard all components must be completed, including Functional skills at the required level. All apprenticeship standards include an end point assessment which is required to complete the standard.

Working a minimum of 30 hours per week

Upon successful completion of the programme learners can choose to continue their development through a Level 3 Apprenticeship.
