You'll find our modern, purpose-built, professional and technical training campus right in the heart of Barking Town Centre.
Previously called the 'Technical Skills Academy', the building first opened its doors to students in 2012, and focused on offering courses for students aged 16-18. We have now expanded our offer to include courses for adults.
Facilities are modelled on real working environments. Learning in professional and technical spaces and using industry-standard equipment enables learners to effectively prepare for their careers.
Courses at our central Barking campus include:
- Business & Finance
- Hospitality
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Our Barking campuses are all in the centre of town. From Barking station (rail, overground and underground) it’s 4 minutes’ walk to our Technical Skills Academy.
A lecture theatre and several smaller rooms are available for private hire.
