Barking & Dagenham College held an end of term Festival of Success for all its students on Friday.
Earlier in the day, each student was given a certificate of achievement for the hard work they had put in over the past year and then hundreds headed over to the piazza at the centre of the College’s Rush Green campus for the Festival.
The sun was shining and the piazza was bustling with students, packed with stalls and activities (such as a rodeo ride and gladiator game) and a central stage where rap sensation Afro B and former student Diamond performed.
A variety of student acts also took to the stage including dancers, actors and singers; the day culminated with a fashion show with designs by the college’s own fashion students.
Diamond said:
I’m really pleased to be here, it’s a great event which is celebrating all of the student achievements and I hope it encourages them to chase their dreams.
