Connor Honeyman won the London region seniors? category of the Guild of Bricklayers' competition last Thursday 9 June.
He is doing an Advanced Apprenticeship in Bricklaying, studying at Barking & Dagenham College part-time whilst working for local employer Winchmore Ltd.
His fellow student Robbie Kilty came 3rd in the junior competition too.
Curriculum Manager in Construction, Tony Carruthers, remarked:
“I am so pleased for the students and staff in the Bricklaying department.
“This is the third time in five years that Barking & Dagenham College have won the senior London regional competition and shows that we produce trainees to a very high quality.”
