Barking & Dagenham College is proud to announce it has been awarded a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection.

The College has been recognised for it's commitment to delivering high-quality education and support to learners across all areas.
Inspectors praised the college for creating a calm and supportive environment where learners feel safe, valued, and inspired. Students were found to enjoy their time at the college, benefiting from positive relationships with staff and a culture that encourages maturity, responsibility, and peer-to-peer support.
Learners gain valuable knowledge and skills, and a high proportion go on to further study or employment after completing their courses. Ofsted highlighted the strong teaching standards, the professionalism and expertise of staff, and the excellent industry-standard resources available - particularly in areas such as creative media, where students use state-of-the-art production studios that reflect real-world industry conditions.
The report also commended adult learners for their positive attitudes and personal development. Many gain confidence, improve their career prospects, and become more active in their communities. Staff were noted for their commitment to helping learners achieve personal goals and move successfully to their next steps.
