Audience

The Level 2 Certificate in Progression is specifically designed for adults returning to education who wish to develop their skills and build confidence.

It offers an introduction to a range of subjects, including psychology, anatomy, physiology, and study skills. This course serves as an important stepping stone toward higher-level education or employment, with progression opportunities to a full one-year Access course and, ultimately, university-level study.

Throughout this course, you’ll develop essential academic and personal skills that are valuable for further education and professional growth.

You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.

Applicants should have a minimum Level 1 qualification in Maths and/or English or GCSE English/Maths at grade 3. All applicants will also complete an initial literacy assessment.

This course provides a foundation for moving on to Access to Higher Education Diplomas in Health Science and Social Work, opening up pathways to further study and career opportunities.
