Trainee hairdresser Mark Lotter from Dagenham trimmed Leader, Councillor Darren Rodwell?s ?Movember? beard last Wednesday
Mark had asked Naseema Ahmad who works in the Council’s Safeguarding, Quality & Reviews Service, whether she knew of anyone whose hair he could cut for work experience; he was delighted when shortly afterwards, he got a call asking him to cut the Council Leader’s beard and style his hair.
The 17 year old, who trains at the Technical Skills Academy in Barking said
“It went really well; I’d never trimmed a beard before, so I was pleased that I could do it.”
