Three Graphic Design students have won a design competition to develop a logo concept for the new THREESIXTY development in Barking!
Architecture Collective Assemble, Create London and Barking Enterprise Centre secured the THREESIXTY development in Barking Town Centre as a workspace for local creatives. Students were given the opportunity to design a logo concept for the new space.
The first prize was £1250 along with eight days work experience at the Barking Enterprise Centre and there were two runners up prizes of £250.
The final winners were all students from Barking & Dagenham College.
Nathan Weaving-Thomasson gained first place in the competition. He is currently studying a Level 2 BTEC in Art & Design (Graphic Design). The judges were really impressed with his design and his brief about his ambitions.
Runners-up were Genna Holliss, studying a BTEC Extended Diploma in Graphic Design and Maria-Magdalena Duca studying a Level 2 BTEC in Art & Design (Graphic Design).
