It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Barking & Dagenham College at its Christmas market last Thursday.
1500 local people packed out the festive event, which also doubled up as a college open day.
Stalls were packed full of Christmas goodies and treats made by students and staff, including patisserie items, homemade beauty products, fashion accessories and festive food.
The market did really well with the floristry team selling out and a new student business venture called ‘Candi’ ran popular a sweet stall. Learning difficulties and disabilities students had a fun time selling fruit on their own stall, too.
Rudolph himself couldn’t make it due to preparations at the North Pole, but his friends Reindeer Bo and Hendricks went down very well with the little ones.
