Students who took GCSEs at Barking & Dagenham College were celebrating on GCSE results day.
16 year old Cynthia Adebayo from Rainham, who has been studying in the College’s Young College department for just one year, secured the highest grades at the college including a 7 in Maths and an amazing 9/8 in Combined Science. She is off to Barking Abbey School to do A-Levels in Triple Science and Maths.
The College’s Director of Student Support Nicky Gibson has seen Cynthia progress through Young College and says:
“Cynthia is such a determined young lady; she’s a fabulous advocate for the college and works as a student ambassador as well as devoting lots of hard work to her studies. We are so very proud of her and wish her all the best for her future.”
