Some British Army chefs were treated to a freshly prepared meal at the Technical Skills Academy last week
The Army was in Barking town centre for the day with a variety of stalls, showcasing the different professions young people could choose to do in the Army, including being an Army chef.
Catering students at the Technical Skills Academy were keen to show off their skills to Army chefs and so invited them into the college for a delicious hot lunch. The Army chefs had a choice of dishes including: Trout En Papilette, Beef Olives Jardiniere, Grilled Spatchcock of Chicken With Devil Sauce and Spinach and Ricotto Canelloni, finished off with a couple of autumnal classics - Baked Rice Pudding and Bread and Butter Pudding.
