On this free 8-week course you'll develop your understanding of change and continuity in society over time, with particular reference to the role of women.
You might already be studying towards a qualification in history, social sciences or humanities and want to broaden your understanding in this area, or you may simply want to explore this topic for your own personal interest.
You'll explore the beginnings of the #MeToo campaign, consider causes and consequences of key events, and think about how these are interpreted by different people and groups.
You will develop skills that are important in employment and for Higher Education, such as reflection, debating and critical thinking.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course. You'll just need to have an interest in finding out more about how society and the role of women has changed over time.
On completion of this short course you'll understand more about the role of women in society. Further study options could include progressing to an Access to Higher Education in Social Science or Humanities.
