On this free 6-week course you'll develop your self-confidence and self-awareness, and also learn how to manage stress.
These are all skills that will help if you're seeking employment or looking to progress to further or higher education. This short course is specifically designed for adults aged 19 and over.
As part of this course you will:
- Understand reasons for feeling confident, or for lacking confidence
- Participate effectively in a range of social situations
- Learn to manage stress using a variety of techniques
- Set goals that increase your confidence
There are no specific entry requirements for this course. You'll just want to develop your self-confidence and learn techniques to manage stress.
On successful completion of this course, you’ll have achieved an OCNLR Level 1 Award in Developing Personal Confidence and Self Awareness, and will have gained some important life skills that employers are looking for.
You could take your studies to the next level and progress to a vocational course, an Access to Higher Education Diploma or a Higher Education programme.
