This is an introduction to the food and hospitality industry; the course will include basic food hygiene, food safety and storage and healthy cooking. You will learn how to prepare and cook basic healthy meals using nutritious ingredients.
It is an entry level short course, aimed at adults with an interest in cooking or wishing to gain work-related skills in the catering and hospitality industry. These skills are also essential for life, as well as in the home.
This course is free. You must live in the UK and be aged 19 or over.
This is a community based course which can help you learn life skills or can lead to progression towards a full entry level certificate or level 1 qualification.
