This course has been designed to provide the ideal introduction to the construction industry.
You will learn the essential skills in bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, plastering, painting and decorating, construction operations, wall and floor tiling, electrical and plumbing.
On this course, you will learn:
- Unit 1: Generic units, bricklaying, joinery
- Unit 2: Wall & floor tiling construction, operations, painting & decorating
- Unit 3: Carpentry
- Unit 4: Plumbing and electrical
You will be assessed through portfolio work and formative assessments.
You do not need any official qualifications for this course, however, you will need to demonstrate a passion for the subject and commitment to learning.
Once you have completed this course, you will be able to progress onto a Level 2 Diploma in Construction Skills.
