Providing excellent customer service is crucial for many organisations. This course is designed for those wanting to gain the knowledge required for working in a range of different environments within a customer service role.
Whether you’re already working in travel and tourism, sport, leisure, retail, health care, arts or media, or are looking for a customer-facing role in one of these sectors, you’ll need to have a solid understanding of the principles of customer service and delivery.
You’ll develop the essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks, including managing information and supporting events, and learn how to apply these skills and your knowledge in a variety of sectors and job roles.
By the end of the course, you’ll understand the principles of customer service and delivery, understand customer needs and understand employer organisations.
There are no exams on this course. You will need to create a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your understanding.
There are no specific entry requirements, however you will need to be keen to develop your customer service skills and knowledge.
On successful completion of this course you’ll be awarded a Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service and Delivery. You could progress to a Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service, and then to a NCFE Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Customer Service to further your studies and develop your knowledge.
This course will provide you with the skills and understanding to take the next step in your career, whether to an entry level position, or to a more senior customer-facing role.
