If you're an aspiring video artist, YouTuber or want to work in the creative or digital industries, this short Adobe Premiere Pro course is a perfect introduction.

Premiere Pro is an industry standard software for video editing, both in post-production houses and businesses due to its flexibility, intuitive interface, cross-platform compatibility and flexibility.

This beginners’ course will provide you the skills to understand the video editing process and become proficient in using the software.

On successful completion of the course you'll be able to:

  • understand the Premiere Pro interface, video workflows & digital formats
  • edit video, audio and media content competently
  • add transitions and titles to enhance your video
  • be able to export to appropriate media files

The course will include a series of tutor demos and practical tasks that will enable you to apply your learning to live projects.

There will also be a range of learning resources on Google Classroom for you to access outside of the lesson time. This will allow you to review and practice at a time that suits you.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however you will need to be confident in using a computer.

Our experienced tutors will ensure you learn through a mix of instruction, demonstration and the opportunity to practice, ensuring you complete this course with the confidence you need to work independently.

On successful completion of this course, you'll be able to edit video, audio and media content independently.

You may wish to continue your studies in another media production course including Adobe After Effects.

There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
