Interior Design is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK, with multi-million pound development projects in the southeast. The design and construction industry has provided more jobs for people during the pandemic and continues to grow as an area. More people will be needed to fill positions across London and the southeast by 2022, so it is the perfect time to retrain and develop new skills.
This introductory course will give you a taste of the ever-growing building design industry.
You'll learn how to visualise your design ideas into reality by using techniques such as one and two point perspective drawing and use of computer software. You'll also build your understanding of the building and design industry.
This course will be assessed through practical visual assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback throughout the course and formally as part of your assessment.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but a passion for the subject and good level of English is required.
You'll be taught by industry-experienced tutors, so you can be sure that you'll complete the course with the knowledge and skills needed to become a successful practitioner in the industry.
