Getting fit and healthy can be a daunting prospect when you first start out on your fitness journey, so it’s important to know how best to approach this.
On this course, you'll learn how to assess your fitness levels, how to design a healthy personalised diet and exercise plan, and develop your understanding of anatomy and physiology.
It's delivered entirely online and can be studied at a pace that suits you. You could complete in as little as 6 weeks dependent on the time you can commit.
You'll develop your understanding of the following:
- health, well-being and exercise
- the role of nutrition in exercise
- planning and preparing for personal exercise and nutrition
This Level 2 course is free if you:
- currently live in England
- are aged 19+
- have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years
- are not be on an apprenticeship
On successful completion of this course, you’ll have earned a NCFE CACHE Level 2 award which could also help you progress your career, or enter a new sector – whilst giving you the tools you need to improve your personal health and fitness.
