Thinking about working in adult social care? This online course will help you gain an appreciation of what it's like to work in the sector.

The need for adult social care continues to rise, so it's important that care workers have up-to-date support and guidance that allows them to provide the best care possible for the people they work with.

This course can be studied at a pace that suits you. You could complete in as little as 9 weeks dependent on the time you can commit.

On this course you will learn about:

  • person-centred care
  • safe working practices
  • the importance of safeguarding
  • equality and diversity
  • duty of care

To register for this course you'll need to:

  • currently live in England
  • be aged 19+
  • have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years
  • not be on an apprenticeship

On successful completion of this course, you’ll have earned a NCFE CACHE Level 2 certificate which could also help you progress your career, or enter a new sector. This short course is great for those who are thinking about a career in adult social care.
