Falls are the most frequent and serious type of accident in people aged 65 and over, resulting in fractures and broken bones, but also in a lack of confidence and isolation.
This course is a great choice if you work in health and social care or have contact with older people who are more at risk of falls.
It's delivered entirely online and can be studied at a pace that suits you. You could complete in as little as 6 weeks dependent on the time you can commit.
You'll learn about the risk factors and causes of falls, as well as how to prevent falls and what to do should they happen.

To register for this course you'll need to:
- currently live in England
- be aged 19+
- have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years
- not be on an apprenticeship
On successful completion of this course, you’ll have earned a NCFE CACHE Level 2 certificate which could also help you progress your career, or enter a new sector.
